Do People Have Obagi Complications?

Obagi ComplicationsAre you interested in Obagi but you aren't sure if there are complications that you should be concerned about? Or, do you know someone who has had a different type of peel and you don’t' want to suffer the scarring that they did? If so, you'll be glad to know that Obagi is not known for causing complications in those that choose this type of skin peel. While complications are not common, it cannot be said that they don't exist, either.

If you are thinking of Obagi you should know that scarring can occur, as can some pigmentation problems, though they are usually rare and can be corrected through bleaching regimens. Other rare complications may be the development of keloids, and infections due to bacterial contamination. The scarring and keloids are not very common and the bacterial infection is usually only an issue if you do not follow the post procedure directions carefully.

Obagi is like any other medical procedure, individual results and complications vary. Some people will be able to return to work the same day while others will struggle a bit more and have unanticipated results. The key is to weigh the risks against the benefits and determine if Obagi is worth the implied risks.
