Slowing Down the Aging Process – Naturally
Aging is a natural process to which every living system in the universe is subjected. The cells that make any living organism are born, grow, attain adulthood, then get old and die. This applies to the cells of human beings as well. The peak (or adulthood) is attained when one reaches 18-22 years of age. Until this time, the Human Growth Hormone stimulates (HGH) optimal growth, maintenance and regeneration of cells.
Once you reach adulthood, the production of this hormone and many others in the body decline gradually. This means that the regeneration and repair of cells becomes slower and many cells die, incapacitating the tissues in both looks and functionality. Though this process is very gradual, it is recognizable, especially on the delicate skin of the face and hands.
There are natural ways that can help you slow down your biological clock – not in terms of longevity, but in terms of how you look and feel with the passage of time. Here are a few of the better alternatives:
Use herbal supplements.
There are many exceptional anti-aging herbs, vegetables and fruits that can impact positively on the cells of your body. Some examples are maca, ginseng, goji berries, cranberries, carrots, asparagus, banana, grapes, nuts, and citrus fruits. Adding three to five of these to your daily diet can make a drastic difference on the way you look and feel.
