Obagi Nu-Derm Blender
As a person ages, their skin loses the ability to produce certain substances that are necessary for healthy, natural biological functions. Two of these substances that are commonly found to be lacking in skin that is distressed due to aging or sun damage are collagen and elastin. Both of which are absolutely necessary for healthy elastic vivarent natural looking skin. Also, when these two substances are lacking in the skin, particularly in the dermal epidermal junction, the skin will become thinner resulting in the formation of wrinkles.
Stimulates the Production of Elastin and Collagen
The main active ingredient in Obagi Nu-Derm Blender is hydroquinone which makes up 4% of the product in total along with an activating base that is designed to be mixed with
tretinoin. Once these two products are combined and react together the result is a lotion that has been proven in multiple clinical tests to be highly effective at stimulating the production of collagen and elastin in the skins substrate.

Powerful Ingredients
Because Obagi Nu-Derm Blender contains powerful ant-wrinkle substances, it can have the side affect of causing redness and itching. If this is the case for you, then it is recommended that you treat the irritated skin areas with Obagi Nu-Derm Tolereen with .5% cortisone. It is important bear in mind that any side effects caused by this product are only temporary and will pass with time.
Bypasses the Dermal Skin Layer
Never use standard over the counter skin creams or lotions with Obagi Nu-Derm Blender, or any other Obagi skin care product for that matter. This is because, most over the counter skin care products contain oils that will interfere with the active ingredients in Obagi products passing by the outer dermal skin layer.
