When it comes to the healing stages of the Obagi Blue Peel, it really depends on how deep of a treatment you've had done.

• If your Blue Peel was only a light exfoliation, expect a healing time of 3 days.
• If it was a deeper exfoliation, expect a healing time of 6 days.
• The standard Blue Peel treatment comes with a healing stage of 7 to 8 days.
• And for the maximum depth (a peel to the immediate reticular dermis also knowns as the IRD) expect healing time of 10 days.

The firmer your skin is then the longer the peel should remain on your skin, since it will take time to reach the deeper layers of your skin.

After the procedure, your physician will see what stage of healing your skin is in to get an indication of what depth the Blue Peel achieved.

You have certainly come to the right place. I have reviewed both Obagi Nu-Derm as well as the Obagi-C RX systems and I give you both the good with the bad.

Which system is right for you? Well if you're having serious skin troubles then no doubt you should check out the customer review I did for the Nu-Derm system. Although it comes with side effects in the beginning, it might be the 'holy grail' of skin care that you're looking for.

If your problems are less serious then check out my customer review on the Obagi-C system. Less side effects, but the end result is not quite as impressive as what you'll see with the Nu-Derm system.

Both systems have their uses and it really depends on what kind of solution you're looking for.

Online auctions are a great place to get an Obagi Skin Care discount.  When you visit auction sites you will immediately find that there are a lot of sellers out there who are trying to get rid of inventory to make room for new products and are almost giving away the Obagi products that you want and need and don't want to pay full price for.  There are a lot of great auction sites these days and you will likely find that you can receive a nice Obagi Skin Care discount at one if not more of them. Be sure to keep an eye out for the products that you use so that you can always get the products that you need for a great price!

1: Herbal tea. Cut down on coffee and drink herbal tea. Coffee has no specific varieties that will help you beat the years, but herbal teas offer a huge variety of flavors specific to aging gracefully. Sage is an excellent anti aging tea, which helps keep the mind and memory functioning properly. Rosemary also boosts the immune system and keeps your heart healthy. Corn silk tea is an aid in weight loss. Adding lemon to herbal teas will boost their anti aging properties.

2: Evening Primrose Oil. Taken in capsule form, Evening primrose oil is a wonderful supplement which can ease menopausal symptoms and help in the process of aging gracefully. The oil is also an excellent moisturizer for aging skin, softening fine lines and helping to prevent dryness.

3: Oatmeal. Since ancient times, oatmeal has been one of womankind’s most potent anti aging secrets, and the secret of luminous skin. Soak a handful of oatmeal in two cups of water overnight and strain off the oatmeal `milk’ in the morning. Use this to cleanse your face with a cotton wool pad. Add oatmeal to your bath to extend the treatment, by putting oatmeal in a muslin or cheesecloth sachet and dropping it into the water.

4: Hats and scarves. Yes, it’s time to Bring Back the Hat. This vintage fashion did more than boost a woman’s self esteem by shopping for a new hat, it also protected her complexion from the sun and helped prevent wrinkles. If you want your skin to age gracefully, wear a shady hat – or make sure your moisturizer contains sun block.

5: As above the best way to stop your hands giving the age game away is to keep them covered, in the sun and when doing dirty work. If you really can’t stand gloves, use sunscreen outdoors, and waterproof barrier cream indoors. Keep your hands smooth and soft by massaging a teaspoon of olive oil and a teaspoon of salt into them daily. Rinse off with warm water.

6: Herbs for hair health. Long before volumizing shampoos and conditioners, women had wonderful thick hair that was really their `crowning glory’ – and they kept it that way well into their later years with natural herbal treatments. Fair hair was kept shining with a chamomile rinse, while dark hair was persuaded to keep its glossy appearance with a rosemary rinse. Grey hair was created with sage. Just make a very strong tea of the dried herb (about 1-2 tablespoons to a cup of hot water) and allow to cool before using. Indonesian women still use coconut milk as a hair treatment – it keeps the hair thick and glossy, and leaves a lovely fragrance. Olive oil, warned in the hand and massaged through the hair, is another secret of long, thick, glossy hair. An added bonus is that, while you are doing this, the oil will be helping keep your fingernails strong as well.

7: One hundred brush strokes. The other secret for beautiful hair was a thorough brushing every night, and it is still the best way to stimulate the scalp and keep hair thick and glossy. It is important to buy the right brush – a bristle brush is essential, a plastic brush won’t do. Keep the brush scrupulously clean.

8: Counting Your Blessings. This was always Grandma’s best advice for keeping a positive attitude and slowing down the aging process and it still works today. For everything you have to be thankful for, give thanks, and pass on the blessing by helping someone else. Focusing outside yourself is a tried and true way of keeping the years at bay.

Once you reach adulthood, the production of this hormone and many others in the body decline gradually. This means that the regeneration and repair of cells becomes slower and many cells die, incapacitating the tissues in both looks and functionality. Though this process is very gradual, it is recognizable, especially on the delicate skin of the face and hands.

There are natural ways that can help you slow down your biological clock – not in terms of longevity, but in terms of how you look and feel with the passage of time. Here are a few of the better alternatives:
